UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — President Neeli Bendapudi shares a video message with the Penn State community on the first day of the new academic year.

“What makes our university extraordinary? It is not just what we achieve. It is how we do it,” Bendapudi said. “Excellence is at the heart of Penn State. Whether in the classroom, on the field, or in the community, we support one another. We engage in respectful conversations with people who have different perspectives from ours, and through it all, we remain open to new ideas.”
