The Penn State Chaiken Center for Student Success will kick off the academic year by bringing together the first-generation community. First-generation students, faculty, staff and supporters are invited to "PSU First" from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, at 102 Wagner Building.

Attendees will have the chance to connect, build community and learn about opportunities to get involved throughout the year. Students who are new to Penn State or the first-gen community at University Park can learn about the many resources and support systems that can help them be successful.

The Penn State Chaiken Center for Student Success serves all undergraduates at the University Park campus and is part of Penn State Undergraduate Education.
