Investigation underway after man found dead in West Philly home

An investigation is underway, officials said, after a man was found after he was shot to death inside a home in West Philly early Tuesday.
According to police, officers discovered a 21-year-old man who had been killed after responding to a report of a shooting along the 6000 block of Vine Street in West Philadelphia at about 2:14 a.m.
First responders found the man on the second floor of the home after he had been shot and, police said, he was pronounced at the scene at about 2:33 a.m.
No arrests have been made and no weapon was recovered, police said early Tuesday.
However, officials said the Philadelphia Police Department’s homicide unit is investigating.
NBC10 is working to learn more.
The Philadelphia Police Department is asking anyone who may have information on this incident to contact the department’s tip line at 215-686-TIPS (8477).
