Vripack has cooked up something very sweet for two seafarers.

The Dutch design studio has created a whimsical interior for the 123-foot Lollipop. The superyacht, the eighth hull in Moonen’s 122 Martinique series, will debut at the Monaco Yacht Show later this week, but Vripack has revealed the playful living quarters ahead of the event.

The aptly named Lollipop reflects the owner’s love for Shirley Temple’s classic “On the Good Ship Lollipop.” The song, featured in the 1934 musical comedy Bright Eyes, describes a journey to a fantasy land made of sweets. The yacht is also centered around confectionery.

“When I was young working as a skipper, I always said, ‘If I ever have a big power boat, it’ll be The Good Ship Lollipop’,” the owner said in a statement.

Vripack didn’t create a fully themed interior, but rather a series of bespoke details that subtly nod to sweets. As such, the yacht is at once playful, pretty, and practical. Striking that balance was essential, as the owners plan to spend around eight months a year at sea with their two dogs.

“Ultimately, yachting is about enjoying time on the water with the people you love, and Lollipop captures that spirit perfectly,” explains Vripack’s co-creative director Marnix J. Hoekstra. “The playful touches are deeply personal to the owner, yet the interior remains both comfortable and practical for long periods of time at sea.”

The open-plan layout creates a natural flow between spaces, allowing seafarers to move effortlessly between the interior and exterior decks. The interior is replete with soft curves and arches that act as an elegant backdrop to the candy-inspired touches.

“It was important to us that Lollipop didn’t take herself too seriously,” the owner adds. “The candy theme is fun, but underneath is an elegant yacht that feels comfortable and completely ours.”

One standout is the mural that hangs behind the formal dining room. It is reminiscent of the Delft Blue pottery, but features bonbons, Tootsie Rolls, lemon drops, and a girl holding a lollipop rather than the typical floral pattern. Another highlight is the custom leather ceiling in the owner’s suite, which showcases a swirling pattern like a lollipop’s. The four guest cabins are equally striking, with candy-striped wallcoverings and palettes inspired by lollies such as peppermint, lemon drop, Swedish fish, and gummy bears.

The candy references continue outside. On the sundeck, for example, candy floats in the resin bar top and Murano glass sweets sit on the front of the hot tub. To top it off, the Wajer 38 tender has been christened BonBon and the crew tender called Cracker Jack.

“As well as being a sweet treat, the definition of crackerjack is someone who is skillful at what they’re doing,” says the owner, “and we felt that was more than fitting for the crew.”
