We have added a new way to triage and fix failing pipelines right from the CircleCI UI, using your local coding agent.
When a workflow fails, you can now click the wrench icon on the pipeline run page and select Fix with Claude Code.
This opens your default terminal with Claude Code already initiated and pre-loaded with specialized instructions to diagnose the failure.
Here is how it works:
Navigate to a pipeline run in the CircleCI UI.
Click the wrench icon () on a failing workflow.
Select Fix with Claude Code.
Claude Code opens in your terminal, checks for the CircleCI CLI, and runs circleci run get <pipeline-id> --failure-report to pull condensed diagnostic output for every failed step.
Hit Enter
Claude Code reviews the output, identifies the root cause, and produces a fix so your pipeline passes.
This feature builds on the circleci run get --failure-report CLI flag we shipped recently, and brings the full triage-to-fix workflow into a single click from the UI.
Prerequisites:
Claude Code installed locally
CircleCI CLI installed (or Claude Code will prompt you to install it)
