After launching in other parts of the globe earlier this year, Motorola is finally bringing Moto Tag 2 to the US, and it’s on sale for a limited time.

Moto Tag 2 was announced back in January as the sequel to the company’s 2024-released Find Hub tracker that, for all intents and purposes, is an AirTag for Android users. Like the first-gen release, this remains the only Find Hub tracker that supports UWB for precision finding.

New on Moto Tag 2 is a big boost to battery life, with Motorola promising “more than 500 days” from a single, user-replaceable CR2032 coin cell battery. It can’t be recharged, but you won’t even need to replace the battery on a yearly basis. It’s a huge step up from the original tracker, which often would die in just a few months.

Bluetooth has also been upgraded here, with Bluetooth 6.0 and support for channel sounding. On compatible phones, that should improve tracking even further. Android devices need Bluetooth 6.0 and Android 16 to support this added functionality, which includes Google’s Pixel 10 series, the Galaxy S26, and the Motorola Razr Fold – the 2026 Razr flip phones don’t have Bluetooth 6.0 – among others.

Moto Tag 2 is being sold in the US via Motorola.com and Amazon, with a limited-time launch offer providing the tracker at a discounted $19.99 price tag. Normally, it’ll sell for $29.99. A 4-pack is $69.99 at launch, too.

Motorola has opened sales at its own website, linked below. It should go live on Amazon soon, but we’re still waiting on the correct listing. We’ll continue to update this article as those details come in.

The off-white/beige “Laurel Oak” is the main colorway you’ll be able to buy in the States, with the orange “Arabesque” exclusive to the 4-pack.

Beyond that, Motorola is today also expanding color options for its Moto Buds 2 Plus – these earbuds first launched in April.

“Cool White” and “Violet Indigo” with Crystals by Swarovski are available today for $149 and $199, respectively, from Motorola’s website.
