A mom was left heartbroken after no guests showed up to her daughter's first birthday party - but a group of strangers eventually saved the day.

Mother-of-two Tyashia Wills threw a party for her daughter Camille on January 10.

The Missouri mom posted photos a few days earlier of her daughter's presents, and said that relatives then messaged her asking if they could attend a birthday party.

Wills then went all out, organizing a party for Camille and waited excitedly for friends and family to arrive.

However, despite 27 guests saying they would make it no-one showed up on time.

Five of those originally invited did eventually arrive but they were hours late for the 2pm start.

Wills shared a live video on TikTok from the venue to express her disappointment. 

'By 4pm my heart broke, because I know no one's coming,' she said.

'Y'all not going to keep doing my babies like this,' she said. 'Cause we show up. Every time you invite us to something, we show up.' 

'Y'all couldn't take an hour out of your day to come to my baby's party after y'all said you wanted to come. I wouldn't have thrown the party if I'd known,' she continued. 

Little did she know, strangers took notice and decided to throw little Camille a new party days later.

Preston Hopkins, a Kansas City cake artist, helped organize the Tinkerbell-themed event.

'If I can be that one person to start the momentum for good things in Kansas City and good things to come out of Kansas City, I'm that anchor,' Hopkins told KCTV.

Wall-to-wall decorations, balloon arches and a face painting station adorned the crowded room in footage from the replacement party.

Wills posted images of bags of diapers, gifts and treats that total strangers had donated to her family.  

'The experience was a blessing,' she told the Daily Mail. 

'We made new friends and family to celebrate with...I’m grateful and blessed to call Kansas City home for what they did for my baby and for my mom heart.'
