Drake has broken streaming records for 2026 with the release of his three new albums, ‘Iceman’, ‘Habibti’ and ‘Maid Of Honour’.

The Canadian rap star had only been teasing the release of one record, leaving fans surprised when all three dropped at midnight yesterday (May 15).

‘Iceman’, which he had teased by hiding its release date in a giant block of ice in Toronto, is made up of 18 tracks and includes appearances from Future, Molly Santana and 21 Savage, while ‘Habibti’ is 11 songs in length and features Sexyy Red and PartyNextDoor. ‘Maid Of Honour’, meanwhile, contains 14 tracks, with Central CeePopcaan and Iconic Savvy popping up.

The three albums combined helped Drake to become the most-streamed artist in a single day of 2026 on Spotify, while ‘Iceman’ landed the most streams for an album in a single day this year. ‘Make Them Cry’ also became the most streamed song in a single day in 2026 so far on the streamer.

The three records also collectively gave Drake the biggest first-day streaming debut around the world for any artist this year on Amazon Music.

They are Drake’s first studio albums since 2023’s ‘For All The Dogs’ – although he did drop ‘$ome $exy $ongs 4 U’ last year, a collaborative record with PartyNextDoor.

The three records are also Drake’s first to be released since his all-encompassing beef with Kendrick Lamar, and ensuing lawsuit against Universal Music Group.

The White House courted controversy yesterday when they shared a photoshopped version of the ‘Iceman’ artwork, superimposing a ‘MAGA’ chain necklace into the bejewelled hand on the cover.

In other Drake news, in January the rapper was accused in court of promoting an allegedly illegal online gambling platform and using proceeds to artificially inflate his streaming numbers, and that month also saw A$AP Rocky release a diss track against him, ‘Don’t Be Dumb’.

The latter seemed to be an apparent response to the 2024 track ‘Family Matters’, which one of the many diss tracks traded in the beef with Kendrick Lamar.
