I have "Switch to full screen while in Lightbox" checked (but not "Only on mobiles"). This works perfectly on my PC but I've only just discovered it doesn't work on my phone - not in Chrome of Firefox, at least.

I hadn't noticed before because I always use the Tiger app on my phone. I'd forgotten that's not how most casual users are going to see my site.

So what am I doing wrong?

Last time I checked, iOS would not respond to the standard Javascript command to "go fullscreen." And all browsers on iOS use the same underlying core, so even Chrome and Firefox fail to respond to the command.

There seem to be some weird workarounds, but all involve the site visitor having to do strange things on his device, none of which is under the control of the page creator.

In light of this, I'm not sure what the "mobiles only" skin setting is for. Maybe it works on Android, but I can't test that.

I'm on Android but I can see it's probably a browser issue. The mobiles only setting just seems to exclude PCs from switching to full screens.

I've included a full screen button on the control panel and that works OK.
