Throughout the years, numerous Hollyoaks stars have discovered romance behind the scenes.
The Channel 4 soap sensation is renowned for its steamy love storylines, packed with endless romantic triangles and dramatic betrayals.
It's hardly shocking then that after lengthy periods filming such emotionally charged sequences, some relationships carry on long after the directors call cut.
While certain cast member liaisons turned out to be fleeting, others remain strong to this day - here are 5 couples who discovered love while working together.
Anya Lawrence and Lewis WaltonAnya and Lewis are currently an item after their fictional romance translated into reality. The duo, who portray Vicky Grant and Caleb Keane in the Channel 4 drama, made their relationship public through a social media photograph.

In one of the images, the pair struck a pose for a mirror selfie, showing just the lower portion of their faces.
In a separate shot, Anya became the photographer as she captured Lewis against the stunning azure waters, showcasing his toned physique. She wrote alongside the Instagram post: "Last few weeks in a few different places."
Ruby O'Donnell and Nathaniel Dass

Ruby, famous for playing Peri Lomax, and her partner Nathaniel, who joined as Dillon Ray in 2023, may not have shared many scenes together but away from the cameras their relationship has been flourishing since making things Instagram official in 2024. The pair previously revealed how they initially came together.
Ruby confessed they "obviously fancied each other", although they didn't get an opportunity to properly connect for some time.
"We didn't work together," she remembered. "So, there was a whole year when Nate joined the show where we didn't really speak much. But obviously I fancied him. Have you seen that face?".
Nathaniel said it "was all very friendly and professional at first", before the duo truly connected during a work evening out. "We got talking properly," he revealed.
"It's different, because even like with relationships and friendships in Hollyoaks, I find everyone's in work mode when you're on set. And it's those moments outside of work, that's when you really get to know each other."

The two performers recently revealed their engagement four years after meeting on the soap. The pair met when Angus joined Hollyoaks in 2022 and disclosed their romance just months afterwards.
At the time, Niamh took to Instagram to share their joyful news with followers, posting photo booth strips from a day out with her new fiancé and showing off her ring.
She captioned her post: "Lucky, lucky, lucky... I'll NEVER change my name though. Best weekend ever."

Rory and Nadine became engaged in December 2018 after going out for just over a year. The actor popped the question just weeks after they shot their characters' Cleo McQueen and Joel Dexter's nuptials.
Nadine disclosed that they're in no hurry to walk down the aisle.
Beyond the soap, the pair relish spending precious moments with their sons Reggie and Dougie as they previously escaped to a lavish all-inclusive resort in Portugal.
They booked into the brand new 3HB hotel in Albufeira for £200 per night, where visitors can take advantage of an enormous pool featuring a swim-up bar and a children's splash zone.
At the time, Nadine shared with followers: "Wonderful fun in the sun with the family and cousins! Beautiful memories made... But the nursery was welcomed this morning.Jesus Christ I'm knackered ! ! ! !".

The pair who play Tony and Diane Hutchinson's offspring Dee Dee and Ant Hutchinson both joined the show last year during a major cast reshuffle.
Working so closely together on set has evidently fostered a strong connection between the performers as the duo have confirmed they're romantically linked.
Making it Instagram official through a collection of photos, the couple have been sharing posts together since March. The exact start date of their romance remains unclear.
Hollyoaks airs Monday to Wednesday on E4 at 7pm and first look episodes can be streamed Channel 4 from 7am
