Drivers were warned to 'avoid' the area
Two people sustained serious injuries after a crash on the A14. Emergency services were called to the scene on the A14 at Bythorn just after 4pm on Monday (July 27).
The crash involved two cars. Two people were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A police spokesperson said: “We were called at about 4.15pm yesterday with reports of a collision on the A14 at Bythorn involving two vehicles. Two people sustained serious injuries, but not life-threatening. No arrests.”
Police warned drivers to avoid the road while the incident was dealt with. The road reopened at around 8pm.
