Job Requirements

High School Diploma Degree in Aircraft Maintenance Minimum 2 years work experience required Certified Apprenticeship in accordance with Transport Canada Regulations; factory courses specific to aircraft; Transport Canada exams Aircraft and Engine courses for Airbus H130 (preferred but not required) WHMIS, MSDS fire extinguisher training Skills and Competencies: Technical: As per apprenticeship, Transport Canada. Job Description

Maintain airworthiness of helicopters
Conduct inspections on helicopters – 50, 100, 150, 300 hrs and annual inspection
Complete Transport Canada paperwork to keep helicopters legally in the air
Maintain specifications – Airbus H130 and Bell 206
Track lifts up and down on aircraft
Create work orders for every maintenance task (parts on, off and work being done)
Send out major components as per hours or calendar overhaul life
Keep aircraft pristine
Paint small parts on aircraft
Health and safety responsibilities: Responsible for adhering to general health and safety regulations.
