The Focusrite Group have just announced that following a long audit process, they have published their 2026 sustainability disclosures, which are available in three separate reports alongside their usual annual report and accounts documents. 

The bulk of the information is presented in a 72-page Sustainability Report, highlights of which include:

• Emissions down:
  • Absolute Emissions are down 8.5% on a 12-month year-on-year basis: Now 20% down vs the company’s baseline in 2021.
  • Less carbon per product: GHG Emissions Intensity per unit sold is now down to the lowest level since the baseline.
  • Less carbon per £ Profit: Financial performance is decoupling from emissions.
• 114 products now have at least one sustainability initiative (and 122 component-level product lifecycle assessments completed).
• CDP Climate Score improves to a B, including being rated the highest A for emissions disclosures.
• First reporting period with limited ISO 14064-3 limited assurance on emissions data.

Following feedback from the CDP, Focusrite say that they have chosen to split their Net Zero Climate Transition Plan out into a standalone 12-page report in preparation for the UK's Sustainability Reporting Standards. This document explains at a high level what the company are doing to reduce their emissions over time. Finally, a four-page Environmental Policy document has been produced to reiterate the company’s three-pillar environmental strategy.
