It’s no secret that Dubai loves a mall, and the city’s newest dining, shopping and entertainment destination is set to open later this month. From August 19, you’ll be able to visit The Grand, Nad Al Sheba Garden’s new community mall.

While it’s set to be a handy spot for local residents to pick up essentials, it’s also set to become quite the lifestyle destination, with some brilliant restaurants making their way to this part of town.

Natasha Sideris’ beloved Tashas cafe expands to Nad Al Sheba Garden’s The Grand. Alongside all the staples known and loved across the existing locations, expect a few dishes exclusive to the new branch.

Dubai’s OG hand roll concept, Kokoro will continue its regional domination with a new Dubai outpost at The Grand, after popping up during the cooler months at Nad Al Sheba’s The Square. Expect to enjoy delectable hand rolls in a cool, casual setting.

Cookies, coffee and all-day eats – that’s what you’ll find at Home Bakery, which has found home across the UAE. From moreish cheesecakes to earthy matcha, it’s a perfect spot for a casual catch-up.

Born as a WhatsApp order only concept in 2014, Bake My Day launched its online store in 2021, bringing its ooey gooey delights to residents across the city, from cookie tins to brownies. Now, it’s launching a physical destination at The Grand, and we can’t wait.

Already a popular spot at Nad Al Sheba Mall, Blu brings its sourdough-based, Neapolitan-style pizzas to The Grand. As well as all the traditional classics, it’s the Middle Eastern-influenced options that make this truly a must-try.

More of a premium health club than a gym, FitCode opens its third branch at Nad Al Sheba, with the new space joining the existing clubs in Tilal Al Ghaf and Al Quoz. Discover a state-of-the-art fitness floor, specialised studios, and recovery and wellness facilities that put as much focus on post-training rituals as on what you do during your session.

Get some top-to-toe TLC at Tips & Toes, the Dubai-born beauty brand that’s famed for its manis, pedis and specialised nail treatments.

Whether you’re doing the weekly shop, getting some picky bits for dinner, or just grabbing a bite to go, Waitrose, the major supermarket chain, is the place to go at The Grand.

From Lucy Gibson, the founder of resortwear brand Sand Dollar, comes Heart Cottage Lane, a gorgeous shop for interiors and home decor. Nad Al Sheba will be the brand’s third store, joining the original destination in Arjan and Town Centre Jumeirah.
