A Queen City man and a 3-year-old girl were injured Monday morning when a 2024 Peterbilt truck tractor overturned in Knox County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 17, on Highway 11, five miles west of Baring.

The patrol reported the 2024 Peterbilt was traveling west when it ran off the left side of the roadway and overturned. The truck was totaled and towed from the scene by Lakeside Wrecker.

The driver, a 49-year-old Queen City man, sustained minor injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the patrol. A 3-year-old Queen City girl who was an occupant of the truck also sustained minor injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.

Both were transported by Knox County Ambulance to Northeast Regional Hospital for treatment.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by Corporal Mason, the Knox County Sheriff’s Department and ambulance, the Baring Fire Department, and first responders.
