After dropping their first Chattanooga Area Swim League meet of the summer Tuesday, the Cleveland Aqua Tigers rebounded strong Thursday with a convincing 475.5-301.5 victory over the Cumberland Currents Thursday evening.

Tied with Red Bank for the White Division lead, CAT (4-1) powered past Cumberland (1-3) by winning nine of the dozen age divisions with the Lady Tigers posting a 250.5-139.5 mauling and the Tigers roared to a 225-162 thrashing.

Among 26 double-digit scorers, CAT got a half dozen "Perfect 19s" from Maddie Peterson, Kevin Curley, Lee Elliott, Caroline Kate Elrod, Elias and Santiago Eldred.

Helping out with 17 markers apiece were Teddy Elliott, Savanah Rose, Marian Christmann and Caleb Watson.

Nathan Jossart and Lu Colchado garnered 16 points each for the victors, while Silas Dunn, Sophie Hughes and Mark Peterson put up 13 markers apiece.

Helping out the win with a dozen points were Ben Condo, Joseph Rodriguez, Zoey Miller and Palmer Blackmon.

Reed Blackmon, Lilah Parrish and Olivia Hughes put 11 points on the tote board each, while Darius Wellington-O'Rourke, Stevie Rose McDaniel, Andrew Rutledge and Cassie Peterson added 10 apiece.

Seven-year-old Evie Peterson scored 9.5 points and Hannah Frazier nine for the victors

Just eight Currents reached the double digit mark, with Lydia Mizutani topping the effort with 17 points.

Ethan Prater collected 16 markers, while Everett Michael and Carrigan Potts posted 15 each.

John Erik Zilen notched 9.5, while Bear McConnell, Theodore Pickens, Kathryn Pickens and Kirk Jones each had nine for the hosts.
