The Ridgeside Dolphins improved to 2-0 on the new CASL Red Division season with a hard-fought battle against the Cleveland Waterdogs Monday.

After trading momentum throughout the meet, Ridgeside was able to pull away in the end, for a 400–365 victory, handing the visitors their second loss of the campaign.

Tied atop the Red Division with the fellow unbeaten Big Ridge Raiders, Ridgeside had 17 double-digit scorers, including "Perfect 19s" from Madelaine Ellis and Jack Gowin.

Cora and Winston Hamilton, plus Ace Wilder, added 17 points to the victory.

Jake Stone and Lucy Hamilton put up 15 points apiece for the hosts, while Audra Crowe, Jesse Zimmerman and Henry Curtis each came away with a "baker's dozen."

Joe Whited and Caroline Zimmerman garnered 12 markers each, with Parth Chinnathambi, Caroline Carpenter and Benjamin Pipes adding 11 apiece.

Finley Smith and Jem Robertson rounded out the double-digiti Dolphins with 10 markers each.  

The Waterdogs were close behind with 16 swimmers putting up at least 10 points, including "Perfect 19s" from Grace Dauphinais and Carter Gray. 

Additionally, Ty Lauer put up 18 points, while Sofie Rullman was just a point back at 17.

Brooklyn Shumway, Alaina Chapman and Camden Gray each added 16 points to the Waterdog effort.

Lauren Goudzward and Alice Torchick garnered 15 and 14 points, respectively.

A quartet of dozen point tallies came from Ella Cuison, Jared Johnson, Knox Berry and Claire Wendorf.

Davis Hobbs, Marquette and Charles Shumway rounded out the double-digit showing with 10 points apiece.
