Well, it looks like the city wants to spend as much money as they can on speed limit cameras and not on fixing the roads. What a waste of our tax dollars. Thank you. Because people are just not going to speed by the cameras. You still have rotten roads in Longmont. And while you’re at it, ladies, stop texting on your phone. All I see are women and little girls texting while they’re driving. It’s ridiculous. You people are going to kill someone.

I’ve been here 17 years in Longmont … and I drive up and down Main quite a bit to King Soopers, Walmart north. And on the west side, the northwest side, of 17th, I’ve always looked over there to get the time and temperature. And now that PNC bank is in there, what happened to it? That was an icon in Longmont. Are we going to be getting rid of all the airplanes because of the noise? We got rid of something that I value very much, and I talked to my neighbors, and they said the same thing.

• I am ashamed to be an American today. The Supreme Court is letting Trump and his minions turn us into a country that no longer accepts immigrants. Period. Losing 350,000 Haitian immigrants is going to have an enormous impact on the economy. Horrible day.

• According to the news, the Supreme Court still has one ruling, at least, to go and that is birthright citizenship, and I can’t wait to see the Supreme Court say that what the Constitution says is not what the Constitution says, and give Trump what he so earnestly desires. I can’t believe this Supreme Court. They are so far off what the Constitution says.

I’m getting most tired of the government always wanting to put the financial burden to running this country on the middle class. To make up the shortfall in Social Security, I suggest seizing half the wealth of every American billionaire. That would generate roughly $4.1 trillion dollars. This windfall would make the Social Security fund solvent for 25 years, pushing the program’s depletion date from 2032 well into the 2050s. I am sure the billionaires will still be able to fly their private jets to their summer vacations in the Riviera.

I can’t understand why it’s OK for the UFC fight, as a private business, to be able to use our public monuments and the White House lawn for a private business that charged people to enter. That seems wrong.
