I’m watching 9News at home, and they’re telling us how there’s health benefits to slowing down, but the three newscasters on camera are just racing as fast as they can to get everything they say onto the program, and it certainly doesn’t seem like they want us to slow down.

• I have a solution to the Reflecting Pool in Washington … make Trump remove all the gaudy gold in the White House, melt it down into thin sheets and install them in the reflection pool. It will really reflect the pool and get rid of Trump’s so-called decorations. What a terrible person he is. Time for Congress to get some spine and get the orange one out of the White House.

• So, in regard to the Reflecting Pool fiasco, maybe if they would have got decent bids from other contractors there might have been a chance that somebody actually did the pool right, but President Trump had a no-bid contract going out to his buddy from Mar-a-Lago that does his pools at his resort, and his buddies made $14-point-something million doing that, and now he’s making more by redoing it. So circus continues with President Trump, dementia Donnie.

• So, Trump is prepared to prosecute would-be vandals of his Reflecting Pool to the fullest extent under the law. Just like he did with the Jan. 6 rioters. I wonder if he’s thought how that appears to the American public. It’s all about priorities, people.

The caller who has a very substantial stock portfolio does understand capitalism, thank you. I understand how some people and companies have taken advantage of it to enrich themselves, resulting in many poor people not being able to provide for their family. I understand how political decisions can favor the very rich over the very poor. I understand how the replacement of family-owned business with big box stores have caused nonprofits to support their underpaid employees while not getting donations from them. I understand that we all make decisions that enrich other people.

After World War II, many German citizens claimed they didn’t know about the concentration camp atrocities. Well, with social media accounts, even the Fox propagandists can’t claim they don’t know about the atrocities we are doing to the undocumented people being rounded up and put into our American concentration camps and treated so inhumanely. These camps are being run by private contractors that we are paying for. Even our congressional elected officials aren’t allowed to oversee or visit these camps.
